Here are the freshly picked hops. It’s a lot for work than you’d think! I found out that when the trellis isn’t as tall as it should be (over 10 feet tall) then the hops don’t grow the same way, basically they spread and cluster in more of a “bush” type fashion, instead of a more consistant hop vine mannor. So next year I’ll be transplanting the rhizomes once again to the far left section of the garden so I can build a permanent (and VERY tall trellis) which will make the whole process much easier!
The hops are now ready to be dehydrated and then stored until it’s time to use them!
